History and Experience
Vela Photometrics was founded in 2022 by Michael Gavin. With involvement in stage lighting starting in 2010, Michael’s interest and training in various CAD software brought him into the architectural side of lighting in 2018, where for four years he was trained by and worked with his industry mentor Erik Morra under the LumenCALC name.
